该仪器主要应用于固体样品中游离水的含量测定,

 

通过高功率的卤素灯快速加热,在称重系统上直接显示样品的重量变化,并同时在水分测定仪的显示屏幕自动计算出样品的水分值。

 

通过该方法和原理,卤素快速水分测定仪也可以测定某些样品的挥发含量或者含固量。

 

卤素快速水分测定仪是由红外快速水分测定仪改进而来,两者最主要的区别是加热方式不一样:

 

卤素快速水分测定仪的加热源是环状的卤素灯,红外快速水分测定仪的加热源是普通的球形的白炽灯泡。

 

由于加热灯的结构和原理不一样,对样品的测试结果也有一定的影响。
